Anna M Holmes writes thought-provoking stories, across genres, to keep readers turning pages.
Her books are ideal for book clubs seeking engaging reads that spark lively discussions.
Originally from New Zealand Anna lives in London, UK, with her Dutch partner.
Initially she worked as a broadcast journalist before a career in arts management, including as a dance & theatre officer with UK Arts Councils, producing tours and events, and running a dance development agency. She has lectured in dance history and made a documentary film honouring the pioneers of flamenco in the UK (see the Film page). She holds a Humanities B.A, a post-graduate diploma in Journalism and an M.A. in Dance Studies. Learning, she considers, is a life-long activity.
She began writing - screenplays then novels - about twenty years ago.
Writing, dance, and yoga are threads weaving through Anna’s life.
